There is no avoiding it

I quote from Helen Keller:
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

"Danger" is always everywhere, whether you step up to meet it or it meets you when you least expect it. The question is whether you want to imagine it does not exist, or step up to meet it.
